Cavalry Memorial Parade

The Parade
The Cavalry Memorial Parade and Service will take place in Hyde Park on Sunday 11th May 2025.  Dress will be suits / jacket and trousers, Regimental ties and medals.  Berets and Cherries may be worn.  Serving and retired members of the Regiment start to gather from 1000hrs on the Broad Walk (East) just inside the park, parallel to Park Lane.  Please RV at our Regimental Standard by 1045hrs.  The Parade steps off at 1100hrs.  A short memorial service follows, after which we would love to see you in the RAF Club for a drink.

Seating and Standing Areas
You need to book seating/standing area e-tickets for family or guests, or if you wish to attend the service but cannot march.  Access to the seating and standing area is by e-ticket only and will be via three entry points, at each end of the Serpentine Road and from the Broad Walk.  Serpentine Road entrances will close promptly at 1055hrs; however the Broad Walk entrance will always remain open. This year you will receive an e-ticket which can be ordered through the website – follow the link below.

We have been allocated 30 seating and 40 standing area tickets, please secure your e-ticket/s ASAP.

Regimental Drinks
Straight after the Parade, Regimental drinks will be available in the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, which is situated next to the Cavalry and Guards Club. All Serving personnel & Association members are welcome. The aim being to meet and chat over informal drinks in an all-ranks environment. The drinks will have been subsidised (two per person) by the Association. This will give the Colonel of the Regiment an opportunity to update those assembled on Regimental and Association matters. Individuals will then be free to disperse to enjoy the remainder of the afternoon.
