This year’s ‘Northern Reunion’ has undergone a complete transformation in a bid to improve attendance over both Saturday’s reunion and Sunday’s Remembrance Service. It is important to those who have been attending this Reunion for many years that it lives on. The reunion is open to all association members, including those from all antecedent regiments and Serving Personel of KRH. The aim being to create an atmosphere that encourages everyone to reconnect, reminisce, meet-up with old friends and meet new people, in a relaxed and more affordable venue.

The weekend will comprise a Ramnuggur themed celebration on the Saturday evening, and will include a hot buffet rather than a sit down meal. On Sunday a Remembrance Service will be held in the normal manner at St Lawrence’s Church, Barton, where we will honour our fallen and Inter the ashes of those departed over the past year.

Saturday 22 November

The event will be held at Guys Thatched Hamlet, St Michael’s Road, Bilsborrow, Preston, PR3 0RS.

• A free drink on arrival (subsidised by the Regimental Association).
• A hot buffet (subsidised by the Regimental Association).
• The ‘Horseshoe’, including a toast to “The Heroes of Ramnuggur”.
• A Regimental update.

Sunday 23 November

• We intend to march to St Lawrence’s Church, Barton.
• Remembrance service, followed by the Interment of any ashes.
• Tea/Coffee in the church.
